Is the Code 60% discontinued? I can't find it anywhere on this website besides this page.
The CODE 60% is discontinued, sorry. We may come out with a new version in the future but do not have solid plans for that as of now.
Is the VP3 the same as the V3?
The V3 is the new version of the V2. The VP3 is our 60% keyboard made in collaboration with Vortex.
In the description, you've mentioned that the V3 is programmable, I received mine today, and I'm having some problems to program it, there is no manual in the box. Can you point me to some material on how to do it?
Same as the last message said.
I saw the description of the CODE V3 mention that
- 4 Customizable Layers
- Via hardware, no additional software needed
- Programmable key mapping and macros over four individual layers
Could you give an example of how to do it?
The sheet of paper in the box is the manual. If yours is missing, digital versions can be found here: https://support.wasdkeyboards.com/hc/en-us/articles/115009171708-Keyboard-Manuals
The 0.9 firmware does not feature macro programming or key remapping, just programming of the RGB indicator LEDs. The programming steps for version 1.0 and 0.14 are the same.
Feel free to email us at info@wasdkeyboards.com with any specific issues you are having.
I'm a bit confused regarding the CODE V3 vs the original CODE keyboard. The specs on this website for the original CODE shows the interface options as USB and PS\2 while the CODE V3 only shows USB. Has support for the PS\2 interface been dropped on the CODE V3? Does the CODE V3 still ship with a PS\2 adapter?
V3 keyboards do not support PS/2, unfortunately, and will not ship with an adapter. This is because the new programming functionality makes it so PS/2 does not work, according to our devs. We have dropped support for PS/2 for future firmware but are still offering legacy V2.5 firmware if you need PS/2.
Hi there.
I've got 2x VP3 and 1x Model V3 TKL. First: Thank you - i'm really happy with these keyboards. I just have one question: Which firmware can be used to update the VP3 Keyboard? I could not find the correct version on your webpage. After that i went to the vortex page and downloaded the vortex Pok3r firmware and the keyboard got recognized.
Is there a better firmware to use with VP3? A download Link or a Link would be really great.
Thanks in advance for your answer.

Hi, Since the VP3 is not developed by us, we don't have any firmware updates for it unfortunately. All firmware updates would be through Vortex, here: http://www.vortexgear.tw/vortex3.asp
Sounds like you already found the correct update, but we'll keep that in mind for the future and perhaps list the Vortex link for VP3 users.
The VP3 product page currently states that the board has a usb-c connector and has hot swappable switches. This chart does not reflect that. What are the accurate specs for the VP3 board?
Thanks for letting us know, we'll have the chart updated. The VP3 specs on the product page are current. It is hotswap and has a USB-C connector.
Hello, so I have the VP3 older model, the one with the mini USB (mini USB, not micro, not usb-c), after a couple of years I wanted to give it maintenance, but I don't recall if my model has hot-swappable sockets or if it's soldered. Can someone over there tell me?. Also, if it's soldered, can anyone tell me how to open it?. I think my warranty is done by now, so I won't be bothering you if something happens.
PsyDei Itzamná The older Mini VP3s are not hot-swap, only the newer type-c models. There are 6 screws beneath the keycaps that you need to unscrew to take out the PCB. If you email our support I can send you an image on where the screws are located.
