Our keycaps are designed for our own keyboards, but they are also compatible with many other Cherry MX mechanical keyboards.
Keycap Size Chart
Different rows on the keyboard have different heights and slope profiles. Here's a general layout of our keycaps on our keyboard.
Keycap Height
Most Cherry MX keyboards use the same height profile as us. This is sometimes referred to "OEM" profile. There is also a lower profile style known as the "Cherry" profile.
Spacebar Compatibility
Our spacebar is roughly 118mm (4.65in) long measured from the bottom of the keycap, with mounting stems spaced 50mm apart with the middle stem in the center.
Modifier Compatibility
Many keyboard companies change the layout of their modifier keys.
Below are the most common modifier layouts.
- Green = Compatible.
- Yellow = Not standard, but available upon request.
- Red = Not compatible. Size not available.
Caps Lock Compatibility
Our Caps Lock (R2 1x1.75) key has a centered stem. Some keyboards may have offset stems.
Enter Key Compatibility
ISO Enter keys are available, but we do not have the large J-Shaped Enter key (aka Big Ass Enter, L-Shaped Enter).
Right Shift Compatibility
Keyboards that use the large "J-shaped" Enter key will typically also use a shorter R1 1x1.75 right shift key to make space for an extra 1x1 key for the "\ |" backslash/pipe key. We provide an option to adjust for the backslash key, but not the right shift. The R1 1x1.75 is currently available in limited colors as a single blank keycap.
