    I was able to find the 0.16 firmware on wayback machine and download it. Here's the link for anyone else who might need it: https://www.wasdkeyboards.com/media/wysiwyg/support/firmware/MAC_FW_016_MOD.cpio

    I was able to flash downgrade. Will see how this goes, hope the 1.2x version can be polished a bit more.

    I'm sorry Luke Hamburg I didn't see this request earlier.

    I don't believe this issue has to do with Firmware, although I'm not ruling it out, so it would be good to test it. Hopefully this is able to be reproducible. I'm assuming you're on mac, although I have seen this issue almost entirely on windows, so new firmware on Mac might be a completely other thing entirely and hopefully they are related to fix both issues at once.

    Can you let me know what OS version you're on?

    From my understanding, this issue is that the keyboard is disconnecting / reconnecting, and while the keyboard is disconnected, whatever key you input when it disconnected it will repeat that key like "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" until you press another key.

    Can you also let me know how often this is happening? Thank you.

    Luke Hamburg I did some testing today with the new firmware with our Mac here and I didn't experience any issues, can you let me know what OS version you're using? Thanks!

    David Hey sorry for taking so long to get back. Yes I'm on a Mac, was using macOS 11.2.3 when I first had the problems, but I'm on 11.3.1 as of today. I've got the keyboard connected to a USB3.0 hub (heavy duty industrial one by StarTech) not sure if that somehow makes a difference.

    The keyboard wasn't disconnecting as far as I know (I didn't see any lights flashing or any notifications from the OS or anything). But you're right about the symptoms- key would get "stuck" and repeat for a while and then stop. Another symptom I had was a key failing to register any keypresses, and then magically start working again. It was happening very often, a few times per hour. Definitely often enough that it was very noticable.

    These symptoms have completely gone away since flashing back down to 0.16. Nothing else has changed hardware-wise since using the old firmware.

    Thanks

    Also my DIP switches are right now

    1=ON
    2=ON
    3=off
    4=off
    5=off
    6=off

    (old firmware Mac mode)

    Ok thanks Luke Hamburg our machine was on 11.0, so I'm updating to 11.3.1 right now, I'll let you know if I see anything different, I did test it quite a bit today and didn't see any issues with the latest firmware, but that was on 11.0.

    I definitely think the hub could be making a difference, I think it would be good to test direct into the computer with the latest firmware.

    Can you try updating back to the latest firmware and doing a 'reset' after flashing? Try it without the hub first, if it still produces this issue, let me know. If it doesn't, please add back in the hub and let me know if that then introduces the issue.

    I will test on the latest mac OS update on my end and get back to you.

    Thanks!

    Hey, happy new year! I was wondering what the most stable firmware is for Mac for a V3 keyboard these days? Should I try 2.80? Or stick with 0.16 still?

    @Luke Hamburg You can try 2.80 but if your system is having key repeat issues, then I would go back to 0.16. Thank you.
