Factory reset switch stopped working?
I have a V3 keyboard and i have had issues in the past and for a time period, i stopped using it completely. Then i decided to try it again, i factory reset it and immediately flashed some old firmware (i had input issues and keyboard not being recognized and yes i used usb2 ports) but then it was working. For the past month its been good, no input lag, no disconnects nothing out of the ordinary. Then just a few minutes ago i come back to my PC and keyboard is disconnected. I reconnect already fearing the worst. Yep it lagged out again spamming my last keypress. I tried doing what worked for me before:
- unplug KB
- switch on switch No. 4
- plug in KB
and this is where things get weird. I had previously factory reset my keyboard and it flashed the 3 red leds, then went blue and when reset all go green. This time, the red LEDs didnt flash. I couldnt factory reset my KB. And right now the keyboard works fine which is weird. About after this much typing i would expect it to start lagging out. (I also accidentally switched my alt and OS keys and im scared that if i switch em back the keyboard will start lagging again)
So why can't i factory reset my KB? i am currently running the FW_25_7692. Anyone else experience this? Is the firmware affecting the dip switches? I thought the switches were here to prevent the firmware from swapping things out like this. Anyways any suggestions help, thanks.
