Is WASD Keyboard done?
It really seems like WASD has just quietly shuttered as a company. I really hope that isn't the case, but apart from this post (and a similar comment I left a few minutes ago), the last activity on the community forums was 2 months ago and the latest posts on a few boards are as old as 7 months. As far as I can see, none of this activity is from anyone officially affiliated with WASD itself.
The customer support chat redirects to an email to leave a message even during posted business hours.
Numerous basic products (like entire basic models of keyboards) have been out of stock for about a year with no word as to whether more are coming (I've had an alert set since august for the V3 104-Key Barebones Mechanical Keyboard, and that's after I set one because I'd been checking every so often for several months to no avail).
People are reporting support tickets with no response that they posted weeks or months ago.
What happened? Are they just done? Is it just a rough patch and they're planning on coming back? Supply chain issues? I'd genuinely hate to see them go as I really loved this company and their products, but just ghosting everyone like this is really strange and doesn't instill confidence in potential future purchases (if one can even find something in stock).
I hope they're OK, but regardless, some word as to whether it's over or they just need us to be patient would be great and it would cost them $0.
