USB-C Cable problems
I received my V3 mechanical keyboard today, and when I went to use my existing USB-C to USB-C cable, I got no response. I tested with the included USB-C to A cable, which is in no way long enough to replace the 15 foot cable I was already using, and the keyboard is fine. Using it to type this, actually.
The problem became BLINDINGLY CLEAR as soon as I looked at the cables. The included cable's connection point is about 1MM longer than on commercially available cables, as well as having an inset collar. A regular cable literally can't fit securely or make a connection.
The design of the cable restraints in the channels on the bottom are still far too aggressive as well, cutting into the jacketing of both the included cable and my existing cable.
I note support posts for both of these issues which are nearly a year old.
Overall, that's really disappointing for a $200 keyboard.

Hi,
Thanks for the information and the feedback. Differences in cable connector length and housing size are issues we're aware of, and are looking into. While we cannot easily accommodate every other cable out there, correcting for the common issues is something we're working on. If you email us with your order number, we'll be happy to do what we can for the specific issues you're having.

I have just become aware of this same issue. I tried several stander USB Type C cables, and the post above is exactly my issue. My order number is 1305315. I spent $200 the keyboard that cannot use a cable other than from its manufacturer. Please reach out to me about refund or replacement information WASD.
