Time delay on programmin

Hi there, I have got my WASD VP3 and it was good. On the manual I found I can program the function of keys I do know how to do the basic programming but I don't quite understand what the "Time Delay" function on the manual means.

  Hi, Basically, the time delay allows you to press a programmed key and have a delay before the output sends. If you programmed Fn+H with four presses of the 0.5s delay and the output "Hello", there would be a 2 second delay when you pressed Fn+H before "Hello" appeared.
