Macro Programing Confusion

Hi there, been reading the manual for my CODE v3 but I cant seem to figure out how macros work.
I've gotten as far as (I believe) programing my macro, (W, D and Shift at the same time) but I cant for the life of me figure out how to set the key combo that triggers it. (FN+D)
How do you set the trigger key? I tried holding fn, tapping D before saving but no dice

  Hi,

   

  You'll press your trigger or target keys first (Fn+D), then input the programming (W+D+Shift), then press Pgm to save. Sorry for any confusion. Let us know if you run into any other issue or questions.

  How do I make it so instead of the keys pressing down once they stay held down until I toggle the macro off?

  Unfortunately that kind of thing is too complex for the onboard programming, A toggle command is not possible. You'd need software for things like that.
