A doubt about how remapping works

I've been reading the manuals and every post about how remapping works on the V3, but I wanted to make sure that some stuff that I want to do in my custom keyboard is possible, and I'm trying to understand what limitations it makes:

1. Remapping caps lock as ESC

2. Remapping the arrow keys (the template shows them in i,j,k,l) in vim style (h,j,k,l).

If I've understood correctly those things should be OK, and I should be able to have 2 customizable layers (one for text with ESC in caps lock, and another with the special keys and the arrows mapped as above), and I should still have plenty macros to use with my left hand on the second layer.

Is that right?

  Hi,  Everything you're describing is possible. Plenty of room on all four programmable layers for shortcuts and things of that nature. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
