Alternate position of arrow keys
I started using a WASD VP3 61-Key (this is my first WASD keyboard). I am using a Bépo layout on Ubuntu.
I encounter a conflict configuration with a pretty common key combination I use to write underscore character ( _ ). In classical Bépo layout, this character is done with ALT_GR (aka R_ALT) + Spacebar. On my new keyboard, this combination does not print _ but activate alternate position of arrow keys (R_Shift, FN, PN anrd R_Ctrl).
I am a little bit surprised because on the WASD VP3 User Manual, the alternate position of arrow keys should be activate using this combination : L_WIN + R_ALT + Spacebar.
Is there a reason why alternate position of arrow keys is activated even if I don't press L_WIN?
Thank you for your help

Hi David,
The combination you mentioned is the one specified on the printed user manuel I received with my keyboard few days ago.
Is there antyhing I can do to use it instead of simply R_ALT + Spacebar?
As an alternative, I switched on SW3 to use FN on CapsLock key an remap R_ALT on FN key.

Christophe Sicard My apologies for the delay,
During my testing I am able to toggle in and out of the arrow keys using only R_ALT + Spacebar, can you confirm? According to Vortex this combo should need to include L_WIN to work, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I will check with them and get back to you.
I personally find that mapping Fn to caps lock and then using the hotkey arrow keys (with Fn) to be much more ergonomic and comfortable, you may want to give that a shot.
Thank you
