V3 basic functionality
AnsweredHi WASD,
Hope you are doing great!
I bought my V3 keyboard for the printed caps and for the MX switches, I really have no need for any fancy features like programming and FN controls, so I always turned that off using switches on the back of the keyboard. For years now I am experiencing troubles with the keyboard no matter of the firmware I use. In my experience, Different firmware = different glitches (lag, key stroke repeating, no LED working, LEDs delaying, LEDs freezed, keyboard not working, etc.) Currently I am using V0.16, and my LEDs are not working while I am writing this - they are just waiting for me to re-connect the keyboard. During the course I also tried different USB ports and different USB controllers. Before this keyboard I used Razer/IBM/Logitech on this same PC, and I never had the issue. Sorry if my post sounds like a rant, but I have not tried every Firmware yet (I tried the newer ones). What Firmware would you recommend me for my case of use, like a rock solid firmware where all the basic stuff is working 24/7? Thanks!

Hello Ivan,
Most likely you have SW3 "on" while you're using the 0.16 versions, that is the only bug we're aware of for that version.
Version V2.5 will be the most solid and you won't have any of the programming either, I would try that one out and let me know if you're still having issues.
Thank you!
